Microcement wall material
Walls and floors merge into a quiet expanse.
Key Features
Seamless transition from wall to floor with no joints or trim strips, creating a unified visual space free of tile grout lines and baseboard interruptions.
Surface hardness exceeds Mohs 4, resisting scratches from daily foot traffic, water-resistant for kitchens and bathrooms, and easy to clean with a damp mop.
Adjust particle size and scraping direction to match design needs. Each wall displays unique handcrafted details, avoiding a uniform look.
The same material is used for walls, floors, and ceilings to minimize color shifts and texture discontinuities caused by switching materials.
Why choose it
The core value of microcement lies in its seamless finish. In traditional renovation, walls and floors are separate; tiles have grout lines, flooring has seams, and baseboards create a harsh break between wall and floor. Microcement uses a 2-3mm coating to unify walls, floors, and even ceilings into one continuous surface, instantly creating a complete and serene space. It's not just painting over with gray paint—the precise blend of aggregates, resins, and minerals determines the final hardness, texture, and color. This requires mature factory formulations paired with skilled on-site application; both are essential.

Product Origin and Installation
Product Origin
Microcement originated in Spain as a refined upgrade to traditional cement mortar. By incorporating polymer resins and fine aggregates into the cement base, it reduces coating thickness from centimeters to millimeters while retaining the texture and strength of cement. The material gained widespread recognition with the rise of Wabi-sabi aesthetics and has become an iconic choice for minimalist spaces.
Construction Process
Substrate Preparation: Level walls and floors, apply specialized primer to enhance adhesion, ensuring a solid substrate free of hollows.
Primer: Apply one coat of microcement primer to fill pores in the substrate. Once dry, sand smooth.
Undercoat: Apply microcement undercoat 1–2 coats, approximately 1 mm per coat. After drying, sand finely until the surface feels smooth to the touch.
Topcoat: Apply one coat of microcement trowel finish, adjusting the application direction and texture roughness according to design requirements.
Sealed Protection: Apply two coats of water-based polyurethane sealant to enhance wear resistance and waterproofing. Allow 7 days for curing before use.
Real-world effect
After construction, walls and floors feature a unified gray or beige tone, determined by your selected color. From a distance, the space appears seamless with no visible boundaries between walls, floors, and ceilings for a clean visual effect. Up close, natural hand-scratched textures reveal subtle variations unique to manual application—patterns machines cannot replicate. The surface feels solid and smooth with fine grain, similar to polished marble, without being rough. When light strikes at an angle, these handcrafted traces create rich shadows and highlights, enhancing the space's serene and textured ambiance.
