True exposed concrete demands extreme formwork precision and a single pour to achieve a finished surface with no additional treatment. Our faux polished concrete replicates this aesthetic on standard walls using a specially formulated cement-based coating. By precisely controlling aggregate particle distribution and application techniques, it faithfully reproduces the characteristic gray tones, dense texture, and subtle formwork marks of authentic exposed concrete.
Construction Process
Base treatment: Level the wall to ultra-high precision with tolerances within 2mm.
Primer Sealing: Apply one coat of specialized primer to ensure coating adhesion and uniformity.
Face coat application: Scrape the imitation clear topcoat 2 times using a specialized trowel, with each layer approximately 1mm thick.
Template Texture: Stamp joint and bolt hole marks with a template tool while the material is still damp.
Sealant Protection: Apply one coat of water-based sealant to enhance stain and wear resistance.
